mtvu spring breakMTV has undoubtedly redefined the Spring Break for college students ever since they created the official “MTV Spring Break” shows and events. Even though they’ve changed the brand name a bit to “mtvU’s Spring Break,” you can still expect the same activities and shows that you’re accostomed to.

2007’s mtvU Spring Break is in the #1 college student destination: Cancun, Mexico. It will go from March 4 - March 16. MTV will be have a bunch of activities available for spring breakers.

They will definitely have many music performers, but they have not revealed this years performers yet. Last year featured Three 6 Mafia, Sean Paul, T.I., Hellogoodbye, Armor For Sleep, Lil’ Wayne, Matchbook Romance, Hawthorne Heights, Juelz Santana. So you can expect similar pop/mainstream artists will be on tap this year.

If you’re not hitting up mtvU’s Spring Break celebrations in Cancun this year, don’t feel left out. There will be plenty of other parties elsewhere, especially if you are fortunate enough to be in a spring break destination. Aand the only thing you’ll miss out on from the mtvU experience is the chance to be on TV, so don’t fret over missing it.
