PassportHopefully all aspiring travelers are already aware of the new Passport laws that came into effect this year. If you’re reading this International beach travel blog, you will more than likely need a passport to lay on any of the beaches that I mention. So I present to you, the new US Passport Laws.

The 2007 Passport changes now requires travelers to have passports when flying between the US and Canada, Mexico, South America, Central America, and the Caribbean.

But, US citizens do not need a passport when they travel to U.S. territories. These include Puerto Rico, Guam, U.S. Virgin Islands, American Samoa, Swains Island and the Northern Mariana Islands.

In January 2008, people driving to Mexico and Canada will also be required to have a Passport.

For all of the Passport requirements, rules, and regulations check out the State Department’s site, as it has plethora of helpful travel information.
