A great, budget friendly alternative to large, expensive beach resorts is camping beachside. Many of Spain’s great beaches offer their own beachside camping that can accomodate beach seekers and international travelers.

Spain’s lovely Costa del Luz offers several affordable, quality beach campgrounds. The Euro Cheapo travel blog recommends camping beachside at Torre de la Pena or Tarifa.
If you’re thinking the campgrounds along the Costa del Luz are probably really shabby, stop. The campgrounds have everything needed keep your hygeine level acceptable, including showers, bathrooms, and laundries.
For rates, it is usually only 6-8 euros ($8-11) for one person at a standard camping spot. Prices increase with number of people, pets, and electricity also, but they may decerase if you book for several consecutive nights.
If you’re into camping, or just don’t want to spend a bunch of money to visit the lovely Costa del Luz beaches in Spain, then camping is a great alternative to the spendy resort hotels in the area.
