The Best Beaches of 2007

Summer’s just getting started, and you’re probably wanting to travel to the beach. Here is a new list of the best ten beaches in 2007. This top ten beaches list failed to include international beaches though, so here are the best US beaches in 2007.
This “top ten beaches” list comes from the Business Travel Logue. Why business travelers should care about the top ten beaches is beyond me. But with no further ado, here are the top 10 Beaches of 2007
1.Ocracoke Lifeguarded Beach - Outer Banks, North Carolina
2. Caladesi Island State Park - Dunedin/Clearwater
3.Florida Coopers Beach - Southampton, New York
4. Hanalei Beach - Kauai, Hawaii
5. Coast Guard Beach - Cape Cod, Massachusetts
6. Hamoa Beach - Maui, Hawaii
7. Main Beach - East Hampton, New York
8. Coronado Beach - San Diego, California
9. Lighthouse Point Park - Daytona Beach, Florida
10. Siesta Beach - Sarasota, Florida
I’m not sure what makes these beaches best for this particular year, or if the creators of this list even took the year 2007 into consideration at all. I’m thinking it was just a marketing ploy, but it worked, and the beaches are all nice getaways no matter what coast you’re on.

Trust me,Siesta KEY-not BEACH should be#1-you will be completly MESMERIZED and ZONED "down to the key"-many private and public access areas,too.Truly,- the sand is like sugar-great swimming, too. On GULF of MEXICO-USA don't miss it,ever,in your lifetime.Been to the others on list-NO COMPARISION-from a real beach-key-cay LOVER
You tellem Nancy...I am sure we are related somehow...my father is Roland...I love Rockport beach...Jim
I've been to that beach in Kauai. It's really beatiful. I also enjoyed your shark list!
I live on Siesta Key Beach, and I agree that it deserves to be on that list. Our sand looks and feels like powdered sugar, and it is longer and wider than any beach I've been to. It also has the most beautiful sunset view possible. It rarely gets cold here, so our beach is always enjoyable.
Have you ever been to the treasure coast of Florida, I mean Fort Pierce, Vero Beach, Stuart now these are some GREAT beaches.
We can’t believe Pacific Beach in San Diego, California didn’t make the list of top beaches. Coronado Beach is pretty lackluster.
